At the very beginning of the film Phil gives the impression of narcissist who does not care about other `s feelings and wishes . And it seems that he has no good qualities. But even at the moment he has, I think, the best of human qualities - the ability to change for the better. I think that Phil can be compared with a garden at which there were no good gardener for a long time. The garden were overgrown with weeds and nothing reminded of what this place used to be. In this case, Rita is a good gardener who did not leave the garden because of that it was untidy. And the Phil, which we see at the end of the film, it is his true character: he has a lot of talents , he is kind and helpful and always ready to help.

Every morning he wake up and doing only what he love to do, but one time he was trying to pick up Rita. Phil used a lot of methods to do it, but where are no results. He trying to suicide himself, but every morning he woke up at the same day. And finaly he understood how selfish he was and starts help every person. In the end of the day almoust everybody starts thank him for his brave, caring, generous and noble character. Rita saw it in Phil and fall in love with him.
